"I'll have Merlot" by Monique Straub

This scene in Sonoma is one of my favorites. It is a smaller variation of  my painting "Wine Country Walk", with a warmer color palette. I recently had a visitor to my gallery comment that the dirt road looks like it is flowing with wine...hence the title of this piece.

Painted in soft pastel on sandpaper, this painting measures 9" x 12" and is framed in wide/dark wood with UV/Non-glare museum glass. Ready to hang and enjoy with your favorite glass of the grape. Buy it now price: $250 + $30 to ship anywhere in the continental U.S. or Canada. Check out my other original works  here.  Cheers!

  1. Hi Monique!... I love the playful... rhythmical use of line and the wonderful active way that you have divided up the various parts of your composition using colour.

The piece really creates a true sense of joy for the eye! Well done!

    Good Painting!
    Warmest regards,
