Here is a 11" x 14" oil painting that I just finished over the weekend. I have titled this one "Rays of Light." There have been many places, where I have had the opportunity to walk through a wooded area and witness the sunlight radiating down through the trees. It is such relaxing and peaceful place to be, away from all the hustle and bustle of city life. I am considering using this image as a study for a larger, more refined painting, or perhaps a series of paintings by changing the seasons, direction of light, and colors. Enjoy!
