"Haying Season", a 14x18 original oil painting by western Colorado artist, Barbara Churchley

This painting was done “en plein air” with a friend of mine on a nearby ranch. I painted away while he became engaged in a conversation with some local ranchers who stopped by. We were on a road above the ranch, so I was looking down on it; hence, no sky!
