Living here in Northern Ontario (Canada) I don't have to go very far to find good landscape. I painted this a few weeks ago during our last snowfall of the year. The scene is from a natural bush lot located just a few feet away from my back yard.
I've had a busy winter in my studio and out in the field and got a lot of paintings finished but this little guy is special.
Anywhere you place this piece in your home or office it will automatically uplift your spirit!...woodsmoke, fresh fallen snow and the smell of pine trees are all wrapped up in this painting.
