Today's painting, entitled "POND AND PASTURE" is an 8"x10", plein air study, oil on canvas panel, by Texas modern impressionist Jimmy Longacre.
The painting was done on a friend's ranch, near my studio, in the Texas Hill Country. I could feel the spring turning to summer. The bright greens of spring starting to quiet down, and the absence of the profusion of wildflowers.
