"Whispering River" is a depiction of The Animas River between Durango and Silverton, Colorado.  My wife and I had the pleasure of taking a summer vacation to Colorado in July!  We had a great time and enjoyed the incredible views of mountains, trees, and rivers.  Quite a different painting from the normal Texas Genre.  This is the first painting of a series that I am currently working on.  More to come in the near future.
