Original Colorado Landscape Painting "Sunrise on Vega" by Nancee Jean Busse,Painter of the American West

Vega State Park is a popular recreation destination for hunters and residents of Colorado. While camping there one autumn, I shot the reference photo for this painting. The sun was rising and shaft of morning light illuminated a single fisherman in a canoe on the lake. It was a perfectly peaceful sight.
