I created this on the last day of Paint Historic Waxahachie. I love this flower with it's variety of warm and cool colors. The home owner came out and talked to me about his wife's love of the flower. She loved the ability to sway the color with amount of acid in the soil. The more alkaline in the soil the pinker the flower. This painting sold.
