Impressionist Mountain Landscape Painting “Gateway Cow Camp” by Jody Ahrens
Some cattle drives can take days because cows mosey along, munching along the way. It’s important that they arrive at the marketplace fat and hydrated. Cow camps are designated stopping places. Nestled in the stand of trees is a rough cabin to shelter the cowboys for a day or two of rest, or just overnight.
