I have been drawn to quieter colors and high contrast lately, which is probably in response to our more harmonious world these days. The green in the trees started with Pthalo Green and Emerald Green. I then used the reconstituted gray solids from my used minerals spirits jar to bring the intensity down. I find the paint at the bottom of my settling jar is the best grey for me personally because it comes from all the colors I use.
