I finished this one today, guess I am all about watercolors for a while again.😏

This doorway was somewhere in the village of Frayssinet while I was there last year. 

Such an idyllic little village, full of reference for the artist.

Spanish architecture plein air oil landscape painting BECKY JOY

I painted this in Sedona at Tlaquepaque with the Spanish style architectural arches, vines and plants in the pots. the light casting a shadow on the building was one of the main interests for me with the bright red geraniums. Another of my plein air paintings for my studio sale marked down less than 1/2 price.
