"Lone Star Vision" by Kyle Wood

"Lone Star Vision" - 18" x 24" Oil on Canvas

Today, it is a cold and dreary day outside and we just had 6" snow this morning here in Terrell, Texas. The painting above, reminds us of the spring weather that many Texans, if not all, are probably longing for. Soon, winter will lose its grip and fields will be brighten and sparkled with freshly aroma of our state flower, "The Bluebonnet." I titled this painting "Lone Star Vision", because this truly speaks Texas and it is my interpretation of all the places that I have visited, especially in and around Fredericksburg. The beautiful nestled cabin and barn in a field of bluebonnets are part of the rich heritage and culture of our state.

This painting is currently available for sale at
The Dutch Art Gallery in Dallas, Texas.
