Field Below Grand Mesa, a 10x8 original landscape oil painting by western Colorado artist, Barbara Churchley

I painted this scene “en plein air” in winter, and the air was quite brisk for the time I was there. The field I painted this in is next door to a house, and the next thing I know I am talking to the owners! They turn out to be art lovers, and bought this painting. As so often happens between art lovers, they are not only collectors, but they have become friends, too.
