16" x 20" Oil on Canvas, $700
This is my favorite of my latest paintings.
The first thing I did was paint the entire canvas with orange paint,
so that I would have a warm undertone for the whole scene.
I painted the sky with a palette knife so that it would have
an interesting scudding clouds look.
The beach was painted with thick paint and several colors to give
the sand an interesting wet and well-travelled appeal.
