An acrylic palette knife painting of the light captured on camera during travels in the Southwest.

The late afternoon streak of warm light and the brooding clouds overhead bringing the day to an end is very dramatic small Southwestern landscape  painting. Looks good in a silver frame. Painted in the studio as many of my paintings are done . The tool of the palette knife allows for juicy paint and impressionistic or an abstract rendition.
