"Cactus Flower" by Texas Artist Shep

This beautiful little cactus flower was found on a hike in Timberon, New Mexico this past summer.  Far from civilization, if Shep hadn't found it this beauty would have never been seen.  It's 24" x 12" and is framed in a rustic wood frame.

Whiskey Flat Wildflowers by Sheri Jones

Whiskey Flat Wildflowers by Sheri Jones

20x24 oil on canvas

I painted this today at Dutch Art Gallery in Dallas.  Thanks to all that stopped by.  It was a fun day in a beautiful gallery with a top selection of art.  She has 12 new larger paintings of mine, including this one.  I painted this with a palette knife and lots of colorful paint. The study I used for this was painted in the Whiskey Flat's area outside Ft. Worth. It was early morning and a cloudy day. This painting is available through Dutch Art Gallery
