I painted this on Saturday on a rural road outside of Glen Rose.  There there distance hills covered in blue bonnets. It was difficult to find a place to park and difficult to narrow my focus.  I finally settled down and this was my result.  I was thrilled to be there and hope it shows.  This is available for purchase.  $300.00

I met artist, Jill Randall, Claudia Davis and Candy Clynch at Janice Weaver's house in Aledo. She lives out in the country and shared the neighborhood blue bonnets with us. This painting was inspired from a trip to Willow City Loop last spring. This is a rural area in the Texas Hill Country. We were taking roads less travelled and enjoyed discovering this backroad creek. This 22 mile loop will take you on one of the most beautiful areas in Texas. When blue bonnets are at their prime this is a must see. I created this with a palette knife.
