Hawaii, Mountain Landscape,Kauai,Waterfall, Digital Art "WAIMEA CANYON " by Colorado Artist Nancee Jean Busse

This digital painting required 18,883 strokes and 14 hours. Waimea Canyon is on the Hawaiian island of Kauai. The color of the canyon walls reminds me of the canyon colors of western Colorado, which is my home. The contrast is the climate: the lush foliage and humidity on the island of Kauai is lovely! And this viewpoint of Waimea Canyon is an iconic one.

Watercolor "Mist on the Mountain" by Hawaii artist Arlene G. Woo

Mist on the Mountain received an award at the Hawaii Watercolor Society Members show 2017.  It was inspired by a cloudy day in Palolo Valley in Honolulu.  Some people have seen various images, but I only see the valley.

Hawaii Dreams, Beach and Ocean Paintings by Amy Whitehouse

11" x 14" Acrylic on W/C Paper, $125

100+ degree weather makes me yearn for tropical climes all the more.
Can't think of a more ideal place than Hawaii.

This painting started as a monoprint,
painting with brush and palette knife followed,
and it just looked like Hawaii when I finished it.
I want to jump into the surf right about now.

Watercolor, Forest, Sherwood Forest, Hawaii, Arlene G. Woo

Yes, we have a Sherwood Forest in Hawaii.  It's on the windward side, and a lot of people like to camp there because it's right next to the beach.  There are many ironwood trees with pine tree type needles.  This plein aire painting if 11"x8",  $85 free postage.  Contact me if it brings back memories: Arlene G. If you look closely, you can see some pen work which echoes some Japanese art.  This was something new that I tried after pouring watercolor paint onto Fabriano paper.  The image is 10"x14" and may be purchased unmatted and unframed for  $ 175  SOLD  Arlene G. Woo  Contact: arlenesart@gmail.com
