"Soliloquy" is the title of my 48"x48" acrylic on canvas painting. This is simply my expression of what I feel when I am down by the Chattahoochee River, not far from where I live. This is my refuge away from everything that's NON-RIVER. This painting hangs in my home. This way, when I'm not at the river, I'm at the river!

Though Atlanta is a big city, this river has many places of complete solitude, refuge, and abundant beauty. Just Sold! Rushing, raging waters crash down the cataract plunging unto the rocks below: the cascading, pounding, rhythmic waters wear down the rocks and shape them to its ancient channels. Each brush stroke in this painting brings you closer to this mysterious waterfall as light shimmers and dances through the mists above, encircling energetic textured strokes become the cadence of plummeting waters roaring through the rocks.
