Dogwood painting, Small oil painting, daily painting, 6x8" Oil

It's dogwood time in Appalachia!  Any day now the landscape of North Carolina, Virginia etc. will burst into bloom.  If my #1 have to be in the mountains time is fall, spring runs closely as 2nd.

Desert Saguaro Cactus plein air oil landscape painting BECKY JOY

© 2013 Becky Joy    Desert Saguaro    oil     10 x 8 inches
My second painting in the studio sale marked more than 1/2 off. I painted this painting in Tucson on top of a hill overlooking the valley. I like the bit of color in the yellow contrasting with the blues and violets of the background.
Next event will be the Plein Air Convention where I will be teaching at the Basics Course and demoing in the field. Hope to see some of you there.
Still a couple of openings in my Troy, OH workshop Aug 15-17
